Our umrah destinations pages explain how to travel for Umrah and Hajj from your own country. Each page covers the main departure airports, flight times, visa and Nusuk requirements, the Miqat on your route, the best seasons and how Hajj registration works where you live.

Umrah destinations: choose your country
Select the country you are travelling from. If yours is not listed, our team can still plan your journey — just tell us your nearest airport on the quote form.
Hajj from your country
Hajj is booked through official channels that differ by country: the Nusuk Hajj platform for many Western countries, national schemes in countries such as Pakistan and India, and domestic Hajj for residents of Saudi Arabia.

What changes between umrah destinations?
Visa route
Many nationalities can use the Saudi tourist eVisa for Umrah; others travel on an Umrah visa through an authorised provider.
Miqat
Flights from Europe and the Americas usually pass al-Juhfah, while flights from South Asia often pass Yalamlam.
Seasons
School holidays and Ramadan drive demand in every country, but the exact weeks differ.
Wherever you begin, the rites are the same. Read how to perform Umrah, find your Miqat with the Miqat finder, and check visa rules on the official Saudi visa portal.
How we plan journeys from different umrah destinations
Pilgrims leaving from London, Houston, Karachi or Dubai all arrive at the same Haram, but the journey there looks very different. Flight times range from two hours to more than fifteen, visa routes depend on your passport, and the Miqat you cross depends on the direction you fly. Our country pages explain each of these clearly so you know what to expect before you book.
When you request a proposal, tell us your departure city and nationality. We check the most practical flight options, the right visa route for your passport and whether starting in Makkah or Madinah suits your arrival time best. For many pilgrims from Europe and North America, a direct evening flight into Jeddah means performing Umrah the same night; for pilgrims from South Asia, a morning arrival in Madinah often works better.
Seasons across umrah destinations
School holidays drive demand in every country but fall in different weeks: February half-term in the UK, spring break in the USA, winter holidays in Pakistan and long weekends in the UAE. Ramadan is the busiest period everywhere. If your dates are flexible, ask us which weeks are quieter from your country.
